On the day my son was to be released, Paul and Ted met me at the prison, to pick up my son. What a joyous day! Not only was my son free, but he had a safe-loving place to live! But it didn’t stop there- they knew immediately the next steps that had to be taken care of, and they drove us to all the required places, starting first with the probation office. And that continued, in all the days to come, making sure my son reported to the required agencies, and always providing transportation to stores for food and necessities.
I first and foremost thank God, for His miraculous direction, in finding this path to a wonderful, safe home for my son. I then thank Ted and Paul for their guidance, support, and dedication, not only to me and my son, but to all the residents there – this is truly a destination of restoration! God commands us to minister to those that are in need. This ministry is solid ground. God’s love and acceptance, as well as lives being transformed, is so evident here. Donations are always accepted and needed to continue this impactful ministry. There are so many people coming out of prison, that have served the sentence they were given, and yet they come out with nothing, forever to be judged by this society. I have heard some say, “well, they should never have committed the crime, and they never would have gone to prison”. I always respond and remind people that we all have made bad choices/decisions at some point in our life, either intentional or unintentional, the difference is we did not get caught. God forgives us, and He commands us to do the same. If you are looking to sow into fertile ground, please pray and consider donating to Restoration Destination, where you can see lives transformed. God will not only bless you, but you will also touch His heart, by helping one of His children in need.
